Used AI to summarize my attempt to open the eyes of a family member. Shoutout to for all the wisdom! **Why I Believe Bitcoin Changes Everything** *(And What Most People Miss About It)* **1. The System is Broken** The current global financial system — fueled by banks, governments, asset managers, and even many cryptocurrencies — has failed us. It’s built on centralized control, opaque rules, and short-term fixes that prioritize power over people. **2. Bitcoin Isn’t Just "Digital Gold"** Most see Bitcoin as an asset to speculate on (like dollars or gold). But its **real revolution** is far deeper: - It’s an **open, decentralized protocol** anyone can verify. - No politicians, bankers, or regulators can change its rules. - Value is measured by *energy* and math, not human bias. **This creates the first true free market in history** — one that’s fair, transparent, and accessible to everyone. **3. The Shift Has Already Happened** We’re not *approaching* change — **it’s already here**: - The post-1971 dollar system (backed by nothing) is collapsing. - Globalization (as we knew it) is over. - To avoid recession, central banks *must* print money endlessly. This means **runaway inflation is inevitable**. Those holding assets (homes, stocks) may *seem* richer in dollar terms, but dollars are a measuring tape that keeps shrinking. **4. The Debt Trap** Western governments (especially the U.S., with $38T in debt + $2T/year added) can’t pay what they owe. Their only escape? A **"soft default"**: - Devalue the currency (printing money). - Make debts "cheaper" to pay back via inflation. **This is a hidden tax on everyone** — draining savings, wages, and stability. **5. Don’t Miss the Big Picture** Political chaos and infighting are distractions. The real crisis? **Policymakers have no good options**: - Slash entitlements (Social Security, Medicare). - Crush the dollar’s value (accelerating inflation). - Cut defense spending. - Or let U.S. Treasuries collapse relative to the real economy. **All paths lead to pain for ordinary people.** **6. The Solution: A New Foundation** We need to measure value by something **real, scarce, and beyond manipulation**: - **Hard reserve assets like Bitcoin and gold**. - Bitcoin, especially, is a *system* — not just an asset. It turns **time and energy** (our true sources of value) into honest money. That’s why I’m dedicating my time to this new paradigm. The old world is ending. The new one is being built — and it runs on rules, not rulers.

I want to opt out of the current rigged world system. Do it for the kids.

At work, Kiro IDE + kiro cli. Along with MCP for Google Workspace. Examples: 1. Create executive reports for escalated support cases, broad impact issues, root cause analyses, and outages leveraging data from a Google spreadsheet 2. Create a report using Kiro specs that compares answers from different AI models on an in house built chatbot (by the devs in my team) with an underlying aws bedrock knowledge base that holds troubleshooting guides, primers, policies, and procedures. 3. Create a Kiro spec and proceed with implementation leveraging kiro-cli of a python program that grabs support case issue summaries + resolution summaries from a csv, asks user for an ai generated proposed resolution based on the issue summary and grades the ai’s resolution based on the real case scenario resolution ===== Things I struggle with or limitations I’ve encountered: 1. Kiro IDE chat runs out of context as it’s working on tasks, summarizes the chat, and messes up subsequent tasks. 2. Kiro hooks are awesome but I’m not able to schedule them so they run in the background and get triggered at a specific time every day or on a given schedule. 3. Git is an amazing technology but it’s been difficult to teach it to less technical folks (think fellow managers) in my team as it can be overwhelming to remember to branch off or pull a branch, make changes, add, commit, push in order for others to collaborate on people’s latest and greatest changes. 4. I haven’t found a way to edit/view Google Drive synced files in my file system directly on an IDE. They have a Google doc specific extension. 5. I haven’t been able to find a way to get an Claude through Kiro to create a knowledge base based on emails I’ve sent in the last year. Goal would be to become my assistant and propose responses based on how I have tackled long email threads in the past.
