Apparently, phishing training/awareness programs aren't actually effective 😬 Researchers from UC San Diego ran the biggest study to date on modern cyber awareness programs and found that it only reduced the likelihood of users clicking phishing links by 2%. This got me by surprise, the narrative in the workplace has always been training/awareness is the way. Turns out we've just got more ammo for MFA and passkey adoption! https://today.ucsd.edu/story/cybersecurity-training-programs-dont-prevent-employees-from-falling-for-phishing-scams
