If I was giga-based I do it with Zeus, Alby, or another self-hosted solution tbh. But right now I'm not at that point, I'll let coinos handle my ~$2 to $5 in zaps that I'll probably just end up giving back out to some other person eventually.

Right now for the next 16 years, Monero could be considered the harder money, as the monero rewards granted for mining are now gone. It has a supply of 18.4 million, and is only CPU minable which theoretically is a more difficult task since the hardware isn't specialized for mining. Tail emissions offset lost coins, and incentivize miners to maintain the network. Personally, I see utility over theoretical value. And swapping usually tends to be the vulnerability in opsec. For me obviously, I wouldn't be buying anything that requires good opsec but I'd prefer to maintain transaction privacy as a given principle rather than as an assumed luxury.

I agree, it would be more optimal for people to use self-hosted solutions.

To be fair to Primal, they do have NWC nowadays. The KYC wallet is for normies noobs who love daddy gov, and can't be bothered to click more than 3 buttons.

Basically what happened Is when I was fiddling around, and trying to figure out how it worked, I was using two devices. I tried opening, and then closing the channel state, and recovering on another device at the same time, and I lost the channel state because I had recovered too many times. I followed the steps by step of the old guide that existed maybe about 6 months to a year ago, and I know new features, and tools have been added since then but the only step I didn't try was the Linux step.

I used it once, got 500,000 sats lost in Lightning Purgatory, and said screw it. On-chain, or let the custodians handle lightning, normal people don't have the resources, or knowledge to deal with Lightning. Zeus is an amazing wallet, The Lightning Protocol, not so much.

Rest, take a break, and reset. Sometimes tackling it from a different angle, or different perspective helps. I'm not a coder but I noticed whenever I do programming thingies, and get stuck, angry, and confused sometimes I just a break, and then when I retried it, it got easier. Rest is a powerful tool, as well as dreams, empty your mental, and emotional ram cache, and let the system do partition repairs. You will solve it, I believe so.

It was an interesting experiment, and I think it will make exploring the nostr ecosystem more fun, and intuitive. Like a little shop in a videogame but instead it's for real life. Current online store models aren't as intuitive since the checkout process requires multiple clicks, loading screens, information typing, etc. I think your model has an interesting prospect to it, and I'd love to explore it more as it continues to grow.

If I was more financially secure, and had access to worthwhile people to conversate with IRL maybe but in my current situation, no. Unfortunately phones are both the cage, and a tool of escape. It's weird honestly.
