never appreciated how good i had it driving a car - pull off anywhere you want - pop a U turn anywhere you want - never worry about merging back on the highway with power on tap ... but with a 35 foot long vehicle that takes 40+ seconds to hit 60 mph it will be a different story ... every time i get off the freeway will have to be something planned in advance because that thing is not particularly well suited for anything but going at a constant speed and in a straight line ...

if this trip is to succeed it will need to involve more planning than any trip i have done before i have driven trucks and i have driven long distance but i have never driven a truck long distance driving a truck to Florida is going to be a new challenge for me

my favorite hotel to stay in is Home2 by Hilton and what is crazy is that almost all of them if not all of them don't show up on Google Maps satellite view because they didn't exist yet when the imagery was taken ... makes it harder to plan a truck route because i can't tell if a truck will fit in the parking lot

the other low IQ thing killing me is when people say Penske truck is "more powerful" than U-Haul because Penske is Diesel and U-Haul is gas. they are literally saying 220 horsepower Penske is "more powerful" than a 360 horsepower U-haul its basically like saying a pound of lead is heavier than 2 pounds of feathers because it's lead duh ! YES PEOPLE ARE UNIRONICALLY THIS STUPID U-Haul accelerates to 60 mph in 15 seconds and Penske in 45 seconds but Penske is "more powerful" because Diesel Bro i have seen this perspective expressed online several times and NOT ONCE has the person saying this been corrected, because EVERYBODY believes this. their logic is "diesel has more torque" ... and about 20 years ago i wrote an explainer online of what torque actually is and why it isn't what people think it is ... what an idiot i was to think anybody would understand it ! the simple fact is you either have IQ or you do not. you can't explain IQ stuff to a person with no IQ and a person who has it doesn't need to have it explained to them. because Power = Torque X RPM which you may notice is a formula, and that automatically makes it impossible for people with IQ below about 110 to understand. there are people who believe in Power, people who believe in Torque and people who believe in RPM but none of them understand how those relate to each other no matter how many times you explain it to them because it involves a mathematical formula. and you may laugh at how simple that formula is - but the average person is INCAPABLE of understanding ANY formulas. I AM SERIOUS. they are upright walking animals. the average person is only 15 IQ points above a Nigger so that makes it essentially a donkey.

ultimately you have to trust your own experience not what somebody ( me ) says online. to me Dell's service was stellar but i switched to Asus anyway because Dell didn't have anything comparable to the Asus product. if Dell had a thin laptop that can run top Nvidia GPU at full TDP without getting hot or loud i would have gotten a Dell, but even Razer couldn't do it - only Asus ( Rog Zephyrus Duo ) it's the only laptop where you can play for hours and your hands never have to rest on anything hot because they moved the keyboard away from the hot components and put an air intake on top of the hottest part of the laptop thus shielding you from the heat. it blows crazy hot air out of 4 vents on 3 sides of the laptop but if you use the touch pad you don't feel any of it. if you use a mouse you do feel one of the vents blowing hot air at your hand which is something they should redesign in the future. on a small desk that could be uncomfortable. if you have space to put the mouse a bit away from the laptop it's fine obv.

i had the opposite experience. Dell came out next day to my home and replaced every part of my laptop including the motherboard until it worked again. that was however on a "precision" line which is a business class machine and comes with a different tier of service. the laptop was like 4 years old as well, but precisions come with 5 year warranty. their servers come with 7 year warranty. the shit Gamers Nexus pimps probably has 30 days warranty where you have to ship it back to China to get it serviced.

ASUS is an amazing brand it's one of those brands where you shouldn't look at the price and just buy it i never bought anything from Asus and later think the price premium wasn't worth it and many of their products have no competition at all fuck Gamers Nexus he just hates on all large corporations like Dell and Asus. but reality is they are big for a reason - because their products are better. small companies are mainly for idiots who when they have a problem are too ashamed to admit it. big companies are publicly trashed by everybody but in reality their problem rate is much lower.
