Thanks for the detailed reply. Umbrel seems to be a good option, I just need to work out if it's possible to add a Synology NAS to it as shared storage. I haven't come across StartOS so I will look into that as well.

I'm considering switching from my pretty basic Proxmox selfhosting setup, to a more beginner friendly / straight forward solution. Any suggestions on what other options I should be looking into for basic selfhosting software?
