I’m pretty sure the block size is still the same so the same planning you did years ago still applies. But you can link them together yes with raid0 or JBOD. Raid0 is fine for this because the chain is data you can just resync again so losing is not a big deal. Something like bcachefs is ideal if you have drives with different speeds. You can also keep the indexes and chain state fast storage and store the block data which makes the most of the volume in a spinning rust disk.
