Even if it didn't look like it, I was amused while writing it. 🤣😂

First of all, I write this in a light-hearted manner, not patronisingly, I just want to write something that I don't tell people in real life. That being said, here we go. It's somehow amusing to listen to people who live in comfort telling me that comfort makes you lazy, obedient, brainwashed and whatnot. You probably know already what I'm talking about, you even saw it on Nostr, as memes or deep philosophical writings. But my thoughts are something different. Dude, I found out about the existence of electricity when I was 4, I "discovered" inside toilets at 6, and I was working in the field since I could walk. Do you think a 3-year-old can't pluck some beans?! At 6, I moved into the city because of school, but every holiday was spent working in the field, except in winter, when it was more light work like cleaning and feeding the animals. So, excuse me for being so comfortable with not having to cut trees to get warm. I was taught to defend myself as a kid with a flashlight and a pitchfork against wild animals at night while you were excited to use your first PC. I said at night, because the work begins around 2 or 3 in the morning. In conclusion, nowadays I want some comfort "in the decadent West", I want my kid to be raised without worrying about the next draught, because my daughter should wonder while watching a painting in a museum instead of watching a horse farting in her face while riding in the carriage, and for the last year or so I have the right to hope that those ~10k Sats that I stack almost every week might provide one day some extra comfort to her. Anyway, I wish you all a comfortable day, it's not as bad as you're told. (And this is how Nostr became my journal because I usually prefer to keep it to myself.)
