everyone blasts lottery winners for losing their wealth, but when protecting your money from inflation, taxes, scams, bad incentives, and predatory industries is a full-time fight, it's hardly surprising. most would be fine if wealth didn't require constant defense from vampires.

if civilization wasn't so fucking broken, TV, YouTube, SM wouldn't be nearly as successful. people would be out pursuing their hobbies, building businesses, creating art, exploring the world, and actually living the lives they dream about instead of wasting away on screens.

banks have collectively stolen an inconceivable amount of human time. how many hours have you wasted dealing with a god rotting bank.
