In case anyone ever wonders, I am not Bruce Lee. I'm not even Asian. It's just an avatar I use. I'm a fan of his movies.

When the price of #Monero is down, I hate to spend much because my XMR drains too quickly. But still, I used it today to buy a lifetime license for #Cryptomator for Android. Cryptomator.org is free on the desktop. It's a marvelous tool to encrypt folders for the cloud. That means, if you wanted, you could use Google's generous cloud storage but they can't decipher your files, which are encrypted on your device (i.e., E2E encrypted).
When I proofread hardcopies at work, I mark either OK or Corrections at the top. I proofed a flyer for a so-called gender-affirming surgery clinic. Horrible details. With no grammatical errors, I simply marked it "OK" (w/ quotes) on 1st page. I was reprimanded for the quotes. #tolerance
God bless you, Dad
I saw a video of an angry black woman on a subway loudly referring to a nearby white woman as "Miss Vanilla," clearly intending it as a racial slur. Is anyone really offended by being called a flavor or a food item? I can't imagine losing my cool at being called vanilla, white bread, or cracker. Seems silly. I'm not very offendable. But it's probably hate speech to call someone else dark chocolate, burnt toast, or graham cracker.
When people die -- especially those we have been close to -- I think it's good to remember they are not "gone" or " out of the picture. " They don't exist merely in our memories, but in reality. They still exist consciously, though outside of the body until the resurrection. Meanwhile, unlike us, their eternal fate is sealed. There is no reversing course. That's great for those who died in friendship with God. Tragic for those who are condemned. We can always change and repent, but they have no more hope. They've had their opportunity. They are eternally doomed. We need to make the right choices now while we still can. Love God and love neighbor.
What you did was beautiful. Well done.
Had he not been accepting any crypto yet -- not even BTC?
Like what?
I feel your pain. Makes sense. I'm sticking with Nostr anyway. There are some good folks not obsessed with BTC. (I like BTC folks. I just don't think of BTC as mankind's savior.) I am more interested in life and God and humor and regular talk. And with a little Monero thrown in for good measure. 😁 I left Facebook and other social media due to censorship and privacy issues. I refuse to comply with their demands and abuse.
I refuse to have my lexicon edited by the thought police. I learned that "tranny" is a forbidden slur, while "transphobe" is not. The people who are so hung up on what they perceive as slurs are the ones who decide for everyone which words are slurs. (As if "slurs" are the greatest of all societal evils.) Not that I'm not offended at being called a transphobe. In fact, it's an opportunity to set the record straight and begin a fruitful dialogue. Gone is the generation who believed "sticks and stones may break my bones...." Now we have a generation of trannies who, if your words disagree with theirs about the nature of human beings, are quick to literally pick up sticks and stones to break some bones. Even so, again I say, I refuse to have my lexicon edited by the thought police.
