my solution was to setup a personal relay before posting anything, so that i can export things easily if needed. i resist using most nostr apps because i don't feel like i have my data in the end, and much prefer the patterns of remotestorage where i know there's at least a copy always accessible in a place i control

The first time I visited Berlin, the area I stayed in gave me this feeling of calm and coziness such that I'd want to come back. I see more layers now after spending time in other neighbourhoods, but nice to connect with an old feeling by revisiting this moment. My time there definitely gave me an appreciation for public spaces, as they aren't so common in other places I've visited. And yeah, public sofas… Why not? --- During my personal travels between 2018 to 2020, I recorded one minute of ambient sound in various places to practice being still and appreciating what's around me, especially the so-called 'noise' which, although often ignored, can be quite rich when paying closer attention.
