I agree with your assessment of season 1. Season 2 is a much more intricate story, pushing its quality way above season 1. The production quality is also top notch, and the acting is quite superb too, with every character really being much more fleshed out (Addams family macabre pun intended) than in season 1.

Wow, "Wednesday" season 2 might just be Tim Burton's greatest work, and he's done a lot of great work. If you have Netflix I very highly recommend watching this.

I've started watching Netflix' "Wednesday" Season two and it's incredibly good. The story, the dialogue, the acting, the special effects, the sets, the cast itself - all amazing. It's a fun, but also seriously themed play on the senses. May be the best thing I've seen on Netflix ever. Anyone else watching (No spoilers please, I still have a couple of episodes to go.
