Same issue for me so hard to get real rational thoughts on the topic. To me the fee structure is a filter why add one? And one that can be easily worked around through a bad node. The argument on higher costing node is the downside but to me not worth changing btc over with another sub optimal filter Btc is a free market let the fees do their thing what I love about btc is it doesn’t change for anyone bit presidents or companies it’s what the people want — if all it takes for us to change btc is some spam then I worry it’s the start of a never ending cycle of changes where we end up no different than etherium Similar to when the government introduced a small income tax to fund a war now we pay 50% war or not — give an inch they’ll take a mile.

Awesome set up respect you for fighting the good fight. I’m trying to learn as much as I can about this topic transparency I’m in favor of core currently and plan to run it. To me the fees will act like a filter so why change the code for like you mentioned another non perfect filter.
