Just finished watching the latest episode from The Highwire. It's a good one, with some really interesting interviews out of France. Thehighwire.com
Isn't it time that more people came to the realisation that a uniform does not impart authority? We will surely continue as a whole to be willingly subjugated by glorified school prefects if we don't all wake up. Civil servants who refer to themselves as authorities invariably do so from within a uniform adorned with badges and bling. And furthermore, they invariably believe that their attire somehow earns them respect from those who wear normal clothes like normal people. Those who prance around in their garb, with expensive tax funded toys, and who call themselves soldiers or marines or some such silly title, are selected for one primary attribute. They are puerile and incapable of independent thought. They follow orders, and they presume that that is how everyone should live - subjugated by authority. There is no glory in being a pawn in the defense of a feudal power. To be a Marine or a member of some such band of silly uniformed order takers does not make you special in any way other than the way in which we speak of special needs children. Don't be a prick. Grow up.
For a moment I thought it was Mitch McConnell
Mr Squeaky Face is like a used car salesman.
I always get the heebiegeebies when I sit in the firing zone of those blades. I know that the shrouds are insufficient to contain them in case of catastrophic failure.
Comedy is what it is. It should all be treated as such.
Sounds like a parliamentary meeting
Yeah, obviously AI. When did they ever thank you for your contribution?
Cool. Post photos.
Very nice. What is your planned route? Aim for the higher, lesser trod tracks. The traffic in Sagarmatha NP is appalling, but the Gokyo route is not bad. Keep away from Everest Basecamp.
Ah shit... I'm just going to move my coins back to an exchange, where they're safe.
I can think of so many ways of depositing stones into fast moving fans from a distance.
Trezor didn't "do" this. One of their resellers "did" it. And it has nothing to do with the security of the device.
I bet there were agents that came in and subverted the trust in this case.
This is how coffee houses started. In Ottoman times, and later in Europe, coffee houses were hubs of dissent and subversion, where peiple discussed ideas and planned revolts. They were the early form of nostr.
It happens to my wife occasionally. I call it dance epilepsy. P.S. I wish I had the moves.
A rare truthful utterance from Netanyahu, when speaking of Israel.
This is what a debt based fiat economy does for us.
