I just thought I'd let you know Bev's (my mother's) true character. Beverley Jean Aspbury (DOB: 15/04/1947) is a historical child abuser. She is guilty of child battery. She beat me (Roger (her eldest son)) repeatedly when I was eight and nine when we were living in Scotland in 1988. She only stopped when I hit her back. She hit me with a metal-edged wooden Trueline ("Made in Australia") brand ruler (she later broke this on me). She also hit me with wooden and metal serving spoons and a metal spatula (she broke a wooden serving spoon on me as well). Stephen Andrew Aspbury (my brother (DOB: 07/10/1980)) is a witness.
