A demo of V2 is currently deployed on .cash and is being used by many apps. V1 -> v2 was a breaking change and I choose the new domain to not affect old clients. However we are going to reconcile them very soon. There is an open proposal for quote lookup by pubkey. It wouldn’t be compatible with NIP-57, but it would make the broker obsolete. The first versions of npub.cash used to send payment notifications via DM, but that was quite spammy. Maybe a different kind would be appropriate and I agree that would help with redundancy and discovery
