What does HodlHodl do? ā Charges you $250 in BTC to āinvestigateā ā Forces you through KYC (yes, KYC on a supposed P2P exchange) ā Asks you to trace an old address with a $5 test transaction ā Makes you sign a legal document ā And tries to silence you by saying you canāt share the email Letās call it what it is: This is NOT Bitcoin. This is traditional banking dressed up as cypherpunk. Bitcoin was created to avoid exactly this. To remove intermediaries. To eliminate permission. To protect identity. And yet here they areā¦ Monetizing user mistakes. Forcing KYC where it doesnāt belong. Turning account recovery into a business model. The worst part isnāt the money. Itās the precedent.
