💯 You can work it the other way too. For every part the plumber installed, how much of the cost of that part was embedded taxes during the manufacturing process. It’s crazy how much the government benefits from every transaction.

Probably nobody is willing to pay for memes. That said, I completely support someone who wants to run the experiment and put their memes behind a paywall.

Nostr V4V has not failed. After the novelty of zapping every note has worn off, we’re just finding out the actual market value of our thoughts and memes. The market value is a few sats at best, often zero. When you take away the marketers who pay for manipulating attention, you find out sharing thoughts is worthwhile and enjoyable, but generally not monetarily valuable. This is a good thing.
