Turns out Linux has this thing called sudo apt update. You just type it into the Terminal and it goes out and looks for updates. You don't have to open an app store app and dig around for where they moved the 'check for updates' icon this week. ❤

OTOH I couldn't imagine the stress levels of discovering a vulnerability that put an insane amount of digital currency at risk and trying to figure out a private way to warn the owner/manager without tipping off every scumbag inside of every three-letter agency on the planet.

How the heck did you super nerds ever use linux before LLMs? Was there like a giant dictionary of terminal commands at every desk? How could someone possibly commit all of this stuff to memory and still have enough brain cells left to remember menial things like your wife's birthday, or to wipe after you poop?
