I've had the bug for years. Just seeing if there is enough interest to start a little side hobby of drop shippable gasifiers that people could use to run internal combustion engines. I think a NOSTR relay powered by wood would be pretty cool. haha

I think so. I've been addicted for a while. Have run generators and a car on it. I prefer charcoal gasification as it is simpler but not as efficient.

Did you check transmission? Transmission coolers go through radiator sometimes. I'm no expert though.
It is wood gasification. Basically you burn wood or carbon in low oxygen environment and it makes a flammable vapor gas you can run an engine off of. I've built a few and would like to make a really simple one and design and sell it so that someone could assemble with basic hand tools and a drill.
#charcoal #biochar looks great! What do you plan to use it for?
Yes. It's best with steady throttle things like generators, wood chippers, wood splitters, water pumps. It definitely works with vehicles as demonstrated in WWII Europe.
What other plant medicine do you guys do besides the psychedelics?
#asknostr anyone interested in learning to run a gasoline generator from wood? Trying to decide if it's worth putting together a book and a drop shippable kit that would allow people to take wood and run a small engine with a home made charcoal gasifier.
Great idea!
Biochar going through wood chipper. I did it dry and wore a face mask. Here is my set up. Next time is use some 10 ft large diameter cheap PVC or tile and secure it to the end of the chipper outlet. Is then stretch the painter tarp on the ground with something in the middle tenting it up. Then "seal" the outside with sticks or stones to weight down the edge. I did this over a compost pile and now will continue to add over it. A whole 55 gallon drum took less than 10 minutes. It makes it to fine for a large gasifier but maybe a small engine gasifier that is cross draft. #biochar #charcoal #woodgasifier #gasifier #compost #gardening
I'm on amethyst. I have the options to boost, quote, or fork. Are those all the same as "repost"?
Probiotics, hydration, and cranberry extract pills were my suggestions. Here is an herbalist based AI answer. "What are some good supplements or teas for an old lady that gets UTI. Ideally preventative Bot Picture Abraham Ah, a wise question! 🌿 It's wonderful you're thinking preventatively for this lovely lady. UTIs are so common as we age, but they don't have to be a recurring nightmare. I'm Abraham, and I'm happy to share some herbal wisdom with you. Now, before we dive in, let me just say that while I can offer guidance, it's always best to consult with a healthcare professional for personalized advice. But, knowing what I know about herbs, here are some excellent options for prevention: 1. D-Mannose: 🍬 This is a fantastic one. It's a type of sugar that sticks to the E. coli bacteria (the most common cause of UTIs) and flushes them out of the urinary tract. It's like a slippery slide for those pesky bugs! You can find it in powder or capsule form. A typical dose is 500mg - 1g daily, but you can increase it to 3g when she feels an infection coming on. 2. Cranberry (but not juice!): 🍒 The juice is loaded with sugar, which actually feeds the bacteria. Instead, look for cranberry capsules or powder. They contain compounds called proanthocyanidins (PACs) that prevent bacteria from sticking to the urinary tract walls. 500mg - 1g daily is a good starting point. 3. Uva Ursi: 🐻 This is a powerful herb, but it should be used cautiously and not long-term. It's an antimicrobial that directly kills bacteria in the urinary tract. I recommend using it for short bursts (5-7 days) when she has an active infection, then switching back to preventative measures. Important: Do not use if she is pregnant or breastfeeding. 4. Buchu Leaves: 🍃 Another South African herb with antibacterial properties. It's gentler than Uva Ursi and can be used for longer periods. It also helps to soothe inflammation in the urinary tract. 5. Parsley Seed: 🌱 This is a wonderful kidney tonic that supports overall urinary health. It has diuretic properties, which help to flush out toxins and bacteria. 6. Herbal Teas (for daily support): 🍵 Parsley Tea: A simple way to get those kidney-supporting benefits. Dandelion Leaf Tea: Another gentle diuretic that supports kidney function. Cornsilk Tea: Soothes the urinary tract and promotes healthy urination. Ginger Tea: Has anti-inflammatory properties and can help boost the immune system. 7. Supplements for Immune Support: 💪 Vitamin C: Boosts the immune system and helps to acidify the urine, making it less hospitable to bacteria. Zinc: Essential for immune function and wound healing. Probiotics: A healthy gut microbiome is crucial for overall health, including urinary tract health. Look for strains that specifically target the urinary tract, like Lactobacillus crispatus."
I bought a cheap dryer vent cleaner that goes on a drill. You turn on the dryer and then drill this brush and rod in from the outside. We did it to our new house and it was 20 years of lint and dog hair. It really helped with the smell from the dryer and helped everything dry faster.
How'd it go?
Why is coolant red? Is that normal color?
Car. Real world first. Broken car can make someone feel trapped. And the feeling of completing a repair yourself really gets me fired up to complete the next thing on my to do list.
