Thinking of tens of thousands concurrent players from day one lead me to using NIP 33 Nostr replaceable events, your airline and assets are yours, signed and attested by the network. Balances and other sensitive data is completely derived from events, and the simulation itself is completely deterministic so it is always on and always light weight using cryptography and signing of state roll-ups.

Building an app completely on top of Nostr has been an amazing experience. This renews my hope on the internet's future. Freedom protocols are alive and growing.

I wanted an Airline Manager Simulator in my phone, tried AM4 and kind of liked it but I was repelled by all the ads and lack of multiplayer, so I built my own simulator using Nostr as a backend and lots of algebra.
