This is what I'm referring to. I remember you had more impactful privacy guides a while ago but "lockdown" an iPhone and claiming VPNs aren't effective? Come on man, you're putting a lot of peoples privacy at risk when you say stuff like that. Most people already use iPhones so if you tell them that they just need to change their iPhone DNS server and turn off some telemetry and iCloud switches and call it a day, they'll just stop at that and never bother to look into GrapheneOS. Privacy is bottom up. Badness enumeration on top of an inherently privacy compromising platform is not an effective strategy for opsec.

I wish you'd focus on more important privacy measures than DNS, which is am uphill battle of badness enumeration if your software and hardware can't be trusted. Instead of following your guides on turning off iPhone permissions and configuring a pihole, your readers would have much better privacy but just using GrapheneOS which uses DoT by default and doesn't send any telemetry by default. DNS filtering can do nothing to stop Apple's telemetry if they just bundle it into a domain that's required for basic device function (they do). Network obfuscation and DNS filtering is much more powerful through a VPN tunnel anyway since your ISP still sees domain names in plaintext with HTTPS even with a local DNS resolver. Installing Mullvad and using an ad and tracker blocking DNS filter will go way farther at obfuscating traffic than even the most aggressive local DNS filter without a VPN. I love the content generally, my criticism is purely constructive and of good faith.

So true. God wants us to know and love Him and gave us the full choice to deny this purpose. Love cannot be forced, lest it's more akin to Stockholm syndrome. He gives us this choice so we can truly love Him, with our whole soul and will. You can't MAKE someone love you, that's never love.

We're at war with Iran, it's literally the worst timeline.

It means Foundry is mining selfishly, judging by the headline.

Most cash these days only takes a few hops, say you go ATM then send those bills out without spending locally and getting all new local bills, there's a high degree of co fidence that you mailed your cash since it all of a sudden ends up across the country. Say you repeat this pattern and use the same seller often, then they have a decent idea that you're sending cash to buy something. This is resolved by using cash more locally and sending bills you've recieved as change. This is why I like to spend $100s then buy XMR with my 50s and 20s.

Lots of people are coming to your realization about Monero. I really fear for the future of Bitcoin, it used to be difficult to talk about L1 privacy, now it's impossible and difficult to even convince most Bitcoiners that p2p digital cash is even the goal of Bitcoin. The culture has been completely gutted by deep state infiltration.

How are you going to levy pressure behind a bunch of botnets and gaming PCs behind VPNs and Tor? Don't pretend that Bitcoin's corporate ASIC mining is anywhere remotely as decentralized as RandomX mining in Monero.

It's just straight up a psyop at this point. So undeniable.

Starting out you can just keep it simple with trocador in Cake Wallet. When you do higher amounts or want less custodial risk then look into Eigenwallet for L1 BTC -> XMR, Retoswap for L1 BTC <-> XMR with more liquidity but with an arbitrator model vs atomic swaps in Eigenwallet, or Robosats for Lightning <-> XMR with an arbitrator model

Not even this argument works. BTC is down in the last year 50%, Monero is up. Monero has much more steady and more stable growth than the giant speculative 4 year cycle pump and dumps that Bitcoin gets. Also its not about the greed, its about the freedom you get from making purchases in a fully permissionless and private manner. A network so permissionless and private that if the state made it illegal, you could still use it with confidence. Darknet market adoption proves this. Mind you the first darknet began only because of Bitcoin's invention, yet nearly 100% of darknet market volumeitoday is Monero. Isn't that curious?

You know, you can just use Monero. You're not contractually obligated to exclusively use Bitcoin, anything telling you that is either propaganda or sunk cost fallacy.
