Sounds like the tail end of a first date to me

Edit
Sounds like the tail end of a first date to me
Actually it might be a Government Reopening Sale
It’s an early Black Friday sale!
*sad trumpet*
Same music problem here. At this point I just know what I like.
first time I’ve heard this term
Philosophy is definitely the worst of these. Totally agree.
“it’ll be nothing like the last time”
Very useful historically, when studying architecture, fine art, etc, but folks are just making up terms now and getting more upset when you mislabel their genre.
I’ve sold t-shirts & penrolls on Nostr! It works smooth like butter!
That would definitely be nice to have a bit of a safety net just in case things don’t pan out for whatever reason
Oh crap is everyone going to take a break from talking shit about Apple now?
News alert: fake accounts will be on trend very soon
Dude. Have you ever heard of the Bulwer-Lytton writing contest??? It’s ended now but it was a contest to write ridiculous intros to stories in the “it was a dark and stormy night” style. Great stuff! #writing https://www.bulwer-lytton.com
From this perspective, it definitely makes sense. It is a shame that so many housing developments are going up next to each other though. Here in Maryland all the new houses/condos look identical and they’re ridiculously expensive. Honestly, even if I could afford a $750k house, I wouldn’t want to see into my neighbors’ living rooms. That’s just me, being frustrated at the same-ness of architecture these days.
You’re the third person I’ve ever met that’s heard of them. I guess maybe most of their fans are just too weird to run into in public. A friend of mine in college, right before I left, burned me copies of Music Has The Right To Children, Geogaddi and In A Beautiful Place Out In The Country as a gift. Back in 2003. Maybe I should ask for tennis balls for my walker for Christmas.
I think there’s an obligatory saxaphone in the soundtrack of film noir movies. Wait wait, sorry. Not “movies”, that’s so mainstream. “Films”.
I bet by 2075 society in general will be a lot different. the concept of a mortgage will look nothing like what we’ve got now and this whole 50-year mortgage idea will be a moot point.
I am convinced that the bizarre naming conventions are just another way to maintain exclusivity, like having a cassette tape of some indie band that barely anyone has even heard of. “Ooh, what an I listening to? Yeah I got this tape at one of the only two shows they ever did. They started their own genre, that’s how indie they are, bro. Their music is postexistentialistpostvaporwavepostemopunkelectronica. You wouldn’t know, ha.”
True, it’s just an enormous amount of time in general. Lots of things could change in the world within a half century
50 years is a long time to pay off a mortgage, at half a century it almost IS rent for life
Someone’s gonna say it: There’s a noticeable lack of shirtlessness here.
Where is this?
