I had an idea for a #nostrwatch so I made some. I gave one to , with a custom watchband made by - thinking that seeing a legit Freedom Tech dev wearing one would inspire more folks on nostr to scoop them up. Nostr isn’t a typical economy though, and I realized that after a little while. The folks here simply don’t move as a herd, and to a large extent thats by choice - we came here to get away from that behavior being reinforced and rewarded. Nostr is a group of smaller groups, and you’re NEVER speaking to “nostr” as a whole because there are many people who choose turn off the default relays to curate their feed. And with the advent of Web of Trust , many people are filtering through what they do see. I’m happy with the audience I’ve got at this point, and I think many of you feel the same way. There’s an opportunity to start businesses on Nostr, but you have to do the heavy lifting of making your stuff, advertising it, and shipping it. Ask , , , etc. Not everyone can run a business because it’s extremely labor intensive. But let’s encourage those that CAN do it. Helping to advertise their stuff by posting reviews of it is a way to grow their popularity. Doing a good review costs you nothing, and gifting something from a Nostr business is ALWAYS a great idea. People that aren’t on Nostr really like the stuff we’ve got going on. Not everyone needs to be a daily poster. We’re a strong team made up of talented folks! #grownostr
