The only effective way to orange pill someone is/was when they come to it on their own. You can't convince someone who hasn't yet felt why they need it. You can only answer the questions they're already asking.

Use a different nostr app. That's the beauty of it. Don't think the one you are using is maintained much. Try amethyst or yakihonne.
