Today I bought a second composter, there is a lot of grass, a lot of weeds and it didn't fit in one anymore 😁

At the beginning of the year, I thought this small garden patch would be enough. But my wife got really into gardening, so we’ve decided to expand! Last spring, breaking up the soil and thick grass was a huge struggle, so this time I’m taking a different approach. I’m covering the new plot with black landscape fabric for the summer. The goal is to trap heat and block sunlight, effectively 'cooking' the grass and weeds along with their roots. Hopefully, this makes tilling the soil much easier come autumn. 🌿 #garden #gardening #homesteading #permaculture #gardenlife
