It has made sense since I started. Core v30 introduced a relay poilcy change that no one wants, that allows people to store things on chain that are not money. That's bad for Bitcoin because Bitcoin is money. It's bad for node runners because that same change not only allows other things to be stored on chain that are not money (like CSAM), but it makes it easier to do so, and makes it the default state. We want to keep Bitcoin as money. We don't want porn or other shit on chain. Not a lot of technical depth required.

Today, thanks to Core v30. You can host more of what you want (that is not money) on Bitcoin, and you can do it much simpler, and it's a default change. These three differences make all the difference. Oh...and why was that change made?

I can't find any examples of it being exploited nah, but what a feature haha...the computer is fully shut down but has a system within the system that you can remote in with! I knew about it years ago which is why I bought a bunch of t430s for cheap - a gang called 1vyra1n hacked the BIOS and allowed you to somewhat cripple the ME chip (which I did), but I'm curious to actually use it for my own benefit now haha. Can't find examples of anyone doing it either.
