starlink is offering ach direct debit as an alternative to credit card payments, and people are upset. i guess they want the credit card companies to keep taking their cut, and the payment processors to keep censoring transactions.
Have you tried restarting the Bitaxe? If you're on the same subnet then you should be able to ping the Bitaxe at the IP on its display. If you aren't on the same subnet then the router needs to allow the traffic between subnets. I'm guessing something changed in the network after the Starlink outage.
I'd love to see countries adversarially testing each other's models for bias.
Uptime Kuma is a good open source monitoring tool if you'd rather self host. I added NIP-04 DMs to it as a notification provider too.
It has tons of microscopic life, but it's hot enough that the bugs only hang out under the cardboard on top.
I've got one big Sweet Scarlet goumi bush I planted, and a handful of others started from seed. I'd go for a variety that has larger fruits since the seed is already large. Layering worked for propagation. I haven't seen it try to spread, which is nice. I do a lot of pruning on it every year to keep it smaller and make it look nice. Otherwise it tends to fill in densely. There are some large thorns, but they're easy to avoid. The fruiting wood seems to be ready for renewal after 3-5 years, since fruit set has declined over the last few seasons. Flowers have a nice vanilla perfume, and last for a while, starting out white then turning more beige. Fruit seems to be best for fresh eating. It can be hard to tell when it's ripe and under-ripe fruit can be astringent or tart. The fruit turned an opaque pink when I tried to make jam, and it wasn't very appetizing. Birds don't go after them here, but I've seen ants eating them. That's my brain dump on goumi.
