My dear brothers and sisters, By God’s grace, we have just fed and supported 1,000 widows whose husbands were lost to violence and persecution. Behind that number are 1,000 mothers. 1,000 homes with stories of grief, hunger, and fear. One widow told me, “I thought the world had forgotten us.” Today she knows she is not forgotten. You stood with her. This was more than food. It was dignity. It was hope. It was love in action — James 1:27, 1 John 3:18. Thank you to everyone who prayed, gave, and shared. And to Equipping the Persecuted, thank you for making this possible. Please, do not forget these mothers and their children. Let us keep being the hands that feed, comfort, and lift the broken. The work is not finished. The tears are not forgotten. May God bless everyone who stood with us.

Peter began to sink when he shifted his gaze from Jesus to the storm. Keep your eyes on Christ. Fear grows when we stare too long at our problems.

There are moments when we desperately want God to speak, yet heaven seems silent. But the silence of God is not necessarily the absence of God. Like Elijah, we must learn to recognise Him not only in the spectacular, but also in the “sound of sheer silence.”
