That's the thing: I'm a very impatient guy. I only started somwhat parrying at the big monkey and OMG did it feel epic. Once it "clicked" for me, I wasn't just trying to survive anymore, now every encounter felt like doing a dance or playing an instrument. Every perfect parry almost felt orgasmic. I did 80% of my first playthrough without parrying. Sekiro gives many other options to win fights. Please give it some more chances. This game is so fun and rewarding. I even lured one of the bosses to a ledge, so I could stealth attack him and drop him in a ravine 🤣 Even had one of the bosses lured into a poison lake and waited for the poison to kill him. Sekiro is one of my favorite games now and I can't wait for a sequel 🧡
