Maybe check Morpheus Prototypes out. It’s been 10 years since I’ve done anything with them but they were good quality and cheaper back then than some other places like solid concepts (now part of Stratasys). For sure, like the Netflix version of House of Cards. The British version was a well written three seasons and done. Much better.

Well, more often than not I’ve felt out of step with the human world as presented. It generally feels unpleasant and incomprehensible. Interacting with individual humans, however, who are open and curious and a bit cantankerous, this can be great.

🤨 It’s true that I fell forehead first onto an exposed circular saw blade at age two. Forehead injuries must be more common than not for children, right? Being around a lot of kids these days I see they tend to go face first into life—and that often leads to tears. There was no G.A.T.E. program in my town, but the description of making connections, having a deep curiosity and love of learning—but an abhorrence for the slowness of school and its organization—resonates. Always wanted to be either outside under the sun/rain/snow or in a corner with a book or seven.

I figure it’s the age of the state realizing it cannot solve problems beyond its understanding, even if it does spend another several billion on the margin, and it’s freaking them out.
