Hey! Yes, not often tho—just slammed with irl stuff lately. I’ve been dropping in biweekly or so. The phone and computer just aren’t so alluring for some reason these days. Painting sometimes again, tho mostly for my kid’s school. Reading more. Spending time with the family. Plus it still feels like summer over here.

My family and I are traveling to Italy this winter. Maybe we can visit this. I hope so, thanks!

Had the chance to hear Robert Irwin present his process and work many years ago. What a character. I love his work as well. James Carpenter is another artist/architect in this vein whose work I admire, impossible to photograph adequately! And recent work by Sarah Sze too.

Thanks for sharing! Public art is a tough game. I’ve been part of many projects as an artisan and artist’s assistant. The proposal is so intense and the ideas move between sites sometimes. Did you carry these ideas forward into other forms?
