I have a real dilemma: wether I‘m too compliant in my thinking and don’t understand Bitcoin or I understand Bitcoin and it‘s becoming too compliant.

I have a question (forgive me if it sounds naive.) What would happen if Bitcoin transactions were to be restricted? (For instance, if a government were to consider banning Bitcoin ownership.) My motivation is about preserving my fundamental right to utilize the value I've legitimately earned as I see fit. But with Bitcoin too I'm experiencing constant confrontation with KYC and clear identification requirements. So where is the difference? Looking at the current developments in the EU, I can't help but feel that Bitcoin's usage is fundamentally at odds with their interests. A restricted use of Bitcoin - isn't that completely contradicting the Bitcoin philosophy? What's the underlying purpose of this pervasive financial surveillance of private citizens? Isn't this ultimately about preemptively suppressing potential dissent? I understand that it's extremely difficult to ban a decentralized system like Bitcoin. And naturally, one could continue to use and manage it independently. But there’s a gap between online rhetoric and real-world practic. How many would cave in when the law comes knocking at their door?

Julian Assange was incredibly prescient when he said, "We are the last free generation.“ Do we really have to accept this? Is it only unbearable for my generation? Because we know it differently? I mean: Does no one need this kind of freedom anymore? Is it outdated? I simply cannot come to terms with it.
Once, while wandering the streets of Ontario, I encountered an elderly couple selling fruit. As I drew near, I was struck with wonder: they were conversing in German—but not the modern dialect, rather a linguistic time capsule, echoing the language as it might have been spoken a century and a half ago. Mennonites, I realized. Their conversation was a living artifact, a whisper from another era. Their serene demeanor and quiet satisfaction left an indelible impression on me. Bavaria on a Sunday, my thoughts drift back to this remarkable couple, guardians of a linguistic heritage almost lost to time. This couple, whose family once fled persecution did find protection, peace, and THE RIGHT TO LIVE! Happy Sunday everybody! #GazaHasTheRightToLive
The year is 2025. Israel is systematically starving Gaza. "Never again" - a phrase I was taught, now rings hollow, echoes as a bitter, tragic irony. A testament to our collective failure of humanity.
