I could teach you to dance with no problem. But, I’d look up local dance classes, start slow, and be patient. Eventually like anything you set your mind on the lightbulbs will appear.
I went on a date with an Argentinian tango dancer on Friday night and she wrote a poem about it 💕 #plebchain ✨ Una noche en Charleston ✨ Fluir con alguien tiene ese no sé qué. After some smiles with swing dance at Redeemers, we got lost in downtown Charleston with my dancer friend “Step” — and with that name, we just couldn’t stop walking, un paso at a time, discovering surprises along the way. Very conscious of the time inside every step, we just let it roll. Photos on South of Broad, a new hat for me in front of the market, so I could match him , pizza at a very Italian place (but New York style)…with a Stefano team sign and the Sicilian Trinacria flag Even just looking for a restroom, we ended up dancing one song to live music. A lady congratulated us — I believe somehow we were sparkling ✨ something. And then someone yelled “Get it boy!” (or something like that…) while we were soaking in art in front of a beautiful gallery. I still don’t know why… but we laughed. The night was pure fun. The scenery helped — Philadelphia Alley was a plus, flowers on the façades like gifts for the eyes, cobblestones beneath our steps, car collectors framing the streets like a movie set. And like tango, we matched our steps and ritmo along the journey — a question left in the air: how to express this night — in one song, one dance, or maybe a tanda? Charleston, you gave us a stage, and we danced it.
Haha 😂
It is beautiful self expression. The connection to music and your partner is multi dimensional for sure. You can learn at any age, though
