Day 1 at @btcnairobi_conf was a beautiful show of how a circular Bitcoin economy can look like..... From the moment the conference opened, our community wasn't just attending, we were participating. Shakillah prepared and sold her homemade snacks for sats, giving attendees a chance to support a local entrepreneur while experiencing a real Bitcoin transaction. We also proudly showcased one of our @Bitbiasharakids chess talents who is preparing for county competition demonstrating the confidence, discipline, and focus that our young people continue to develop beyond Bitcoin education. And perhaps the biggest highlight was watching our @Bitbiasharakids light up the stage with their gymnastics performances. What began as a safe space to keep children off the streets has grown into a platform where they can entertain, inspire, and be seen by a global Bitcoin audience. This is what Bitbiashara is about.
