I hadn’t even seen it that way at first—but after reading your comment, I realized that digital sovereignty is what truly drew me to #nostr. I genuinely hope Nostr replaces the mainstream apps we currently use to connect. I’ve always disliked the idea that content can be censored or removed just because board members or shareholders disapprove of it. That’s not how human communication should work. On Nostr, it's all about open and uncensored speech. If you don't like what someone says, just unfollow them—but don’t silence their voice. This is what a true digital town square looks like. And the fact that you can get paid in Bitcoin? Even better. Also before I forget, one username across all of Nostr and I don’t need to pay for features like character limits.

That’s the plan. I’m tired of centralized systems and overlord control. We didn’t fight for God given rights to give it up without a fight.

Sure, how can we go about this? 🔥

3-5 years early?

I can’t see it on my side. 🤔

What’s that?

I think since Amethyst is only on Android, it's easier for the devs to focus and fix bugs faster. Primal and Damus are on both iOS and Android, but it feels like they focus more on iOS.

I hope so! I’m tired of having multiple apps with different usernames for reach.

#asknostr Is Nostr destined to remain a niche alternative, or could its protocol become the backbone of mainstream platforms like Twitter/X, Instagram, and YouTube?

Until the masses are willing to switch platforms or there's a way to transfer follower counts. I don't see people making the move just yet.

Just watched the Apple Event: iPhone 17, AirPods Pro 3, and a new Apple Watch all dropped. Gotta say, some cool stuff but also kinda expected. What did you think? #asknostr #grownostr #technostr
