Im doing something similar with a car purchase. Sold old car for 7200 bought that much BTC to hold (currenty apx 10k) and financed newer car for 22k from personal savings. Holding BTC and making myself payments until I have myself paid back. Get outside the financial system and live in a system of your own making.

Time is not fungible. Even though we all have the same 24 hrs a day, the way we each spend it changes the value of that time. This is why humanity needs a store of value, aka "energy, time, effort" that can be fungible and traded with. Bitcoin is the most perfect store of value that has been invented and solves this problem.
