With the internet and Bitcoin, we can now have peer-to-peer education from student to teacher with no intermediaries and worldwide. Value-for-value. For us, an important aspect is our daughter pays the teachers at the end of the class, so she is aware of the value exchange.

I was surprised that and don't support markdown in DMs. I don't think NIP-04 specifies what type of content should be allowed/supported. Any particular reason that markdown isn't supported in Damus for example? Technical reasons or a good PR? Re: https://github.com/lnbits/lnbits/issues/3436
