perhaps it is more accurate to say the two are bounded by the other

memorizing poems is a good way to study them. by the time you have memorized them, you understand whole new aspects of it that you did not before. as a bonus, you’ll never have a boring moment-just a collection of poems to repeat to yourself in your head…

sometimes just need to take a break, a step back, and a new approach to the problem.
