Yes. The pupil dilation drops help the ophthalmologist see the back of the eye and the optic nerve to check for disease and damage. I have blue eyes so it takes a really long time for the drops to wear off. 😎

It’s me. For hours and hours. Thankfully Boyfriend can do the driving for me.

Walked a mall yesterday to do some shopping. By end of day, I had almost 4,500 steps. 😯 Last time I did that many was the Vancouver airport in May …. and my foot seriously hurt the next day, and a bit of the day after that. 😭 Today, foot was a tiny bit sore, but I was able to do my foot exercises and my body workout without pain. 🎉 Slowly getting better, and very hopeful about 10,000 steps by December 2026. #fitnessover50 #proofofwalk

That’s the one I know about: geyser.fund It doesn’t have the pledge level aspect of Kickstarter though; not sure there’s a Nostr/BTC equivalent yet that does that. “Flash fiction” is usually 500-1000 words, and a “Drabble” is 100 words, though those word counts can slide a bit depending who’s creating the guidelines. 300 words is my sweet spot and calling it “microfiction” gets the concept across the easiest.

Writing a new collection of microfiction (300 words or less) or learning to use watercolor pencils in a sketchbook.

Definitely positive for me. The negative is how that account scammed millions of sats from folks who thought they were helping a little girl fight cancer. Using children and animals for greed is a special level of Hell.

I still wear my custom insoles but switched to a flat, foot-wide (not just toebox wide) shoe (brand: Hobibear) and am slowly increasing my step count each month on the way to 10k by December 2026. Going straight to a barefoot shoes wasn’t good for me, as I’ve also been rehabbing my right foot.
