Agree on the happy mistakes - some the art I’ve created that love most has an element of a happy accident. I like both; it would depend what kind of music. Black feels Pink Floyd / experimental rock to me. Light background feels classical music / instrumental.

GM! I have one of those 8 am - 5 pm service windows for a tech to replace a sensor in the AC. Apparently when I wanted more cold air, the sensor said, “Nah, you’re good,” so that’s definitely got to get fixed before we get the Real Summer Heat. GM! My foot right ached this morning, so I checked my steps counter (goal is 2,500). 😳 Note to self: maybe don’t walk a bookstore with a friend in the morning and then an art supplies store in the afternoon of the same day. #fitnessover50 #easydaytoday #idothistomyself

Took the weekend off, as my right foot was aching from the heavy furniture moving and increased step count. Now back to my (minimum) 2,500 steps/day on my way to 10,000 steps/day by December 2026. 🎄 #fitnessover50 #disneyworld #dailysteps

I tried walking on models at the store (this was a decade ago). The biggest thing was trying to find a “simple” one as they get complicated fast. I ended up with a free one from a friend and used like 2 of the 99 “features” it had. Someone mentioned incline, and that was good for increasing the workout factor. Mostly I wanted a way to walk inside when it was crazy hot outside. Now I just pace the length of my living room. 😬

Don’t have a model number, but stability was an important quality when I was trying them out. Too much bounce and I ended up feeling queasy.

Finished watching Sugar on Apple TV+. I liked what they did with it. It’s neo-noir, so all the noir tropes are there: voice over, private detective, femme fatale, betrayal, violence… but with a modern interpretation on some aspects. Did Not see the reveal at the end of ep 6 (thought about it, then dismissed the thought). Did get the later reveal just before it happened. Sugar (Colin Farrell’s character) is big into movies, so his life is intercut with scenes from various noir movies, which is an interesting style choice. It’s a slow burn, a kind of WTH reveal that will make sense and is essential to the plot. #appletv #tvstr #sugar #noir
