Cheers man, very much "human writing". I feel that doing something is progress and yeah, I never thought of it as a record of my thoughts. ๐Ÿซก๐Ÿงก

Here's my first ever published article. I am no writer (or am I?). I'm putting myself out there to be criticised, to improve what I know, to improve how I write, how I can communicate more effectively. Let me know your thoughts, I'm here to learn. #asknostr #nostr #freedom #de-google #blogging #privacy #pleb #plebchain

Trying to piece my patch knowledge together. Am I right in thinking that blockchain is this immutable, "transactional" network with some sort of consensus? Where as nostr, to its benefit, is a freer/less protocol based decentralised network? (I appreciate NIPs do offer a form of consensus).

Fair doos man.

It's just you I can't zap, is that an opt out thing?

Ps. I can't seem to zap you โšก๏ธ๐Ÿ˜•

So it's tested at scale over many years that proves its worth. Nostr needs to keep growing.

Nice one man, cheers for that, I wasn't a million miles off, just didn't have a clue on the how. I understood that web2 infrastructure could change to blockchain tech, but didn't know it extended to nostr. Very interesting, and as you say IPSs wouldn't then be needed. Also, very interesting that nostr can sit alone for users outside of blockchain. Which is more stable/reliable (nostr v blockchain)? Or is it a case by case basis? Pros and cons.

๐ŸŽ„ Day 4: Day 4: NIPs - Nostr Implementation Possibilities ๐Ÿ“ Ah NIPs, that's what they are. Also, big up @yakihonne - a great nostr client ๐Ÿ“š Learn: NIPs (Nostr Implementation Possibilities) are proposals that extend the protocol's capabilities. From basic text notes (NIP-01) to Lightning zaps (NIP-57) and encrypted messages (NIP-04), NIPs document how features work. Anyone can propose a NIP, and the community decides what gets adopted. This open process drives innovation. ๐ŸŸฃ App of the Day: yakihonne.com https://yakihonne.com ๐Ÿ‘ค Person to Follow: #NostrAdvent2025
