Same Q I put to Jeff B (‘s Bot)… why, after a mobile wallet, is the next step not ‘20mins entropy/how to create education’ and then ‘self-rolled single sig’?

Ledger’s are available over the counter. Ledger’s are a common entry tool (that was me). It can’t be - don’t use ledger dummy. Can ledger be used in a way that is deemed comparable to a decent mobile wallet? I will not use/recommend, but what if I come across someone in the wild who is/will use. I’ll need to know what I can recommend.

I mean, why is this not the start/default after a mobile wallet?

A Q - what is wrong with teaching people (20mins) about entropy + how to get) and then using a self-rolled single sig? Less foot guns, less ‘products’…

It’s a feature, not a bug. From my reading and work as a teacher, this is the way. Thinking is effortful and not productive to what we need. Most of what we need to think about is secondary to our wiring. That means it needs to be taught/encouraged in a way that is gratifying. Happy to keep chatting on this topic. 💜
