Built in the late 15th century as a guest house for Faversham Abbey Arden's House was purchased by Thomas Arden in 1540. There is something about the scale of the architecture from this era that makes these buildings so appealing to me. I just love the old Tudor style, and I love a good pint of Shepherd Neame!
