People say #Linux isn’t usable for "normal" users because “what if something goes wrong?” But let’s be real do most people actually know how to fix problems on Windows or macOS either? Not really. They Google the issue, call that one tech savvy family member, or take it to Geek Squad or something similar. It’s the same process either way. So yeah, regular people absolutely can use Linux.
There ain't even any pickles in the game, so it's false advertising at least.
Using Bitcoin on-chain is hell
Agree but the entire government not just the Federal Reserve.

If you were really smart your would build up a huge layer of fat round your neck so you can't be killed via a knife to the neck, but you aren't smart are you?
Yes exactly, and there are probably 1000+ distros with this as their express purpose, make something that's to basically idiot proof, yet we still see people say "normal people can't use Linux because blah blah blah"
The AI videos on YouTube like Top 10 _____ are scary because the older generations don't seem to understand that it's even AI, they truly and honestly believe a real person put effort though and effort into it. It's scary because we have generations who can't even tell what's real anymore, also some of the younger generations are also falling for it but it seems to be mostly the older generations.
Ps. Your soap is that good stuff
Hey, I'm dumb but I'm not stupid, or something like that lol.
I've been working in a software license and I'm not done with it yet and I want feedback (constructive would be nice) about this, I know this is a topic that many people are very locked in their views. Not trying to ruffle feathers just trying to make another foss license. #FreeSoftware #FOSS #OpenSource #libre #licensing
False alarm lol
Why is ditto not letting me post?
Every single time I see Linux on mobile phones I get excited
I'm not good at presenting things and I'm nervous anytime I'm on camera rather visibly or audibly but I made a video showing the state of my post install scripts for #alpinelinux , I make some mistakes in this video but we got there in the end lol https://youtu.be/nPBR_DVgpZs
I'm going to give #kde another look, it's been years since I even considered it, I've always liked #gnome better personally.
I think tomorrow I'll see about getting #labwc up and going, I've been running #gnome and it is fine and generally my preferred desktop but I want to try something lighter weight.
The command-line isn't anti new user it's just how you actually use a computer, also the command-line isn't hard and has never been hard but it's than easiest it's ever been now (the amount of content on the internet dedicated to these commands is innumerable). The lie that for something to be new user friendly it has to be a GUI has to stop. I completely reject the idea that it's too hard for a new user to use a terminal, it's unfamiliar if they are coming from windows but not too hard.
