Definitely - in His time. I wasted quite a lot of time 'approving' of God but having my OWN plan for 'His plan' for my life. Please - spare yourself that if you can.

I know how that is for sure. Prayers for your walk brother! Stay in prayer and in the Word every day. IMO - change won't happen from the things you 'DO', it only comes from the inside after learning His Word and being in His presence continually. Took me almost half a century to figure this out lol. Don't be as stubborn as me ;-)
