What an incredible joy to be able to #growyourownfood and feed our family! What an incredible privilege to try and get a bit of sovereignty in a system built to destroy any and every attempt to be a sovereign individual.

We start our day in the garden. Our daughter loves watering the plants and searching for some snacks amongst the plants. And we love these beauties that add so much color to our garden and our mood. Flowers are such an instant mood lifters.

Just love this time of the year. The garden is so generous. Our daughter gets to snack on so many different kinds of fruits. Also, this year I tried to grow okra again (failed last year) and this year they are doing so well. We have already harvested three big bunch and the plants are still in a giving mood. Life can be so beautiful! Truly blessed! #garden #harvest

A few months ago I had made myself an Adirondack styled chair. My husband really liked it and wanted me to make one for him as well. Since he has been completely claiming my chair, I had to make an extra one. Now we can sit on these chairs, on our porch and argue about something other a promised chair! #buildstr #woodworking

Plucked, cleaned and packaged for storing! Our first time growing flaxseeds and we love it. Its such an amazing crop. Not only does it enrich the soil but the flowers are gorgeous. Definitely our favorite cover crop! #growyourownfood #gardening

Every Nepali person has a deep relationship with coriander seeds. No dish in our kitchen is ever complete without coriander seeds grinded into powdery goodness. So to be able to harvest our very own coriander seeds is so very rewarding. Not looking forward to cleaning the seeds tbh but still very happy with the harvest. #foodstr #gardening #growyourownfood
