The fundamental issue with “this cycle” was expectations. In Q1 2025, everyone believed Q4 2025 was going to bring the historical blow-off top. Now here we are in 2026, and nobody knows what will happen (including the heavyweights). This kind of uncertainty was the norm back in the day, and I think it was necessary for Bitcoin’s parabolic rises of the past. If the majority don’t know what will happen, that’s a good thing.
