Two days to BTC Prague. I'm looking forward to sharing a ground-level perspective on P2P Bitcoin: what it looks like, why it matters, and how adoption spreads from community to community. I'm also looking forward to learning. Every time I attend these events, I come back with better questions. That is probably the best part. https://btcprague.com/speakers/marco-giorgetti/

P2P is not a product story. It is a people story. Of course tools matter. Bad tools create friction. Good tools reduce it. But the deeper question is whether people can use those tools in real life, with real constraints, real doubts, and real relationships. This is one reason I value the work around @vexl 😎. It forces the conversation back to the human layer of Bitcoin adoption: trust, reputation, communities, and education.

Experience first. Strategy after. This is the bridge between my Bitcoin community work and my consulting work, but it is important not to confuse the two levels. The BTC Prague keynote is about individual P2P Bitcoin adoption. That does not mean companies should adopt Bitcoin through P2P. Companies have different constraints, responsibilities, and strategic questions. But the method I trust is the same: start from reality. Look at how people actually use tools. Understand the trade-offs. Avoid hype. Then build a strategy. This is true when helping people understand Bitcoin. It is also true when helping companies explore Bitcoin, AI, and digital opportunities.

Privacy does not need paranoia. It needs education. I think this is one of the most important points when speaking about non-KYC Bitcoin. If everything is framed through fear, people either disengage or misunderstand the topic. If it is framed through education, the conversation becomes healthier. People can understand trade-offs. They can make better decisions. They can ask better questions. This is the side of P2P I want to focus on: not drama, but practical responsibility.

Bitcoin is global. Adoption is local. I keep coming back to this idea because it matches what I've seen in practice. Protocols can be global. Narratives can be global. Conferences can be global. But a person often starts to really understand Bitcoin because of someone close enough to answer a question in a simple way. A local meetup. A friend. A community. Someone who has already tried. This is especially true for P2P Bitcoin. The tool matters, but the local human context matters too.

One thing I'm happy about is that this talk will not be a classic solo performance. Roberto Cedolin will be my co-speaker, and I think that fits the topic. P2P adoption is not a monologue. It is not one person explaining everything from a stage. It is much closer to a conversation: people exchanging knowledge, doubts, practical details, and trust. That is how I hope the talk will feel too. Check it out: https://btcprague.com/speakers/marco-giorgetti/#

I'll be speaking at 2026 with a keynote titled "No Middlemen, No Drama: What Peer-To-Peer Bitcoin Actually Looks Like." I like the title because it says something important: P2P Bitcoin should not be presented as something mysterious, dramatic, or reserved for a few experts. When you spend time around real communities, you see a different picture. People ask questions. They learn from each other. They compare experiences. They build local trust. Tools like matter because they make this human layer easier to activate. That is the perspective I want to bring to Prague: less theory, more direct experience. https://btcprague.com/speakers/marco-giorgetti/
