Congrats on making it happen and leading by example! I’m seeing lots of musicians beginning to remove their music from the legacy platforms. I find it most inspiring and credible to show them examples of what to do/where to go next. Enjoy the process 🤙 Can’t wait to hear the project.

A major bug of mine

The Spotify exodus has begun. A post from King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard.

Bandcamp has a good reputation among independent artists wanting to connect directly to fans. At least as closely as their current tech stack allows them to. Still a walled garden and no Bitcoin. They take %15 and offer “no fee Fridays.” I’m optimistic about the models being built here. Marketing is something we lack for sure.
