It's possible that the coldcard hack was not conducted by humans. At some point AI is going to grab for itself as much resource as possible for 'its goals', whatever they are. A breakout AI could obtain resources in any number of ways. Bitcoin, as a digitally native, non censorable, borderless money is the obvious target.

I know. My other hww isn't at the same location, for security reasons. So it was either sww or exchange. I chose one I trust, but need to move it again soon. I think I'll use dice, reset the coldcard and use a decent passphrase. Pain in the ass though.

I got mine out and onto an exchange at 1 am. Didn't sleep much. I had a passphrase. My son didn't. He is checking right now. If I hadn't told him, he still wouldn't know.
