Yes, but somebody could have wrapped I2PD inside of a Home Assistant app and let you load it alongside Home Assistant.

That was the thought, but it's not worth trying to install manually, as I don't use I2P enough to warrant the time investment it would take. It was more of something like, I wonder if this is easily doable, and the answer to that question was no. I'm going to stick with Tor hidden services. They are faster than I2P and Tor is easier to set up and use, plus, Tor services have proof of work.
I just went to the apps section of Home Assistant and typed in "i2p" and got no results, but I was able to install Tor alongside Home Assistant.
I am now very seriously looking into moving over to post-market OS and abandoning Android entirely.
Best way to do it is to use the GeoHashes, but that requires internet access. But as far as locally, I've had it installed for six months and not seen a single person, so I wish you good luck.
Those maps require internet access to upload the data to in the vast majority of cases, so when the internet gets shut down, then those nodes would disappear off the map as well, but they wouldn't disappear locally. No internet means no uploading to MQTT server.
Hmmm, turns out I can't install #I2P alongside #HomeAssistant. It would kind of make sense for I2P to be on that box since it's always on anyway.
I wonder when they're going to release a new version. The last version I see is from November of last year, with no update since. I see the last commit was one week ago, so it's clearly still being worked on. There's just not been a new release target yet.
Why post that one? There is a newer one from November, I believe it is. https://github.com/Cuprate/cuprate/releases/tag/cuprated-0.0.8
Ah, i see. So it's possible that since Monero is the only high bandwidth requirement application that I've ever used over I2P that I'm getting skewed bad results. The only things I've done over I2P is load web pages, which works alright, and tried Monero, which doesn't work well at all. So maybe that's why I'm seeing such low speeds. Perhaps other applications would work better, but I don't have a need for other applications over I2P at this moment, so the only application I've ever tried was Monero.
Yeah, that's probably the best option. I'm already a licensed ham, so I'm at least somewhat connected with the amateur radio community around here. I just need to find somebody either close enough physically or somebody with a high enough tower that I can receive the node signal from them.
Height is might, and height and power is something I don't have access to. I have the height, but I don't have the power.
That would require talking to people, and I don't know my neighbors that well.
