Very neat. Thanks for this. It boils down to two maxims for me: self custody and trusting your custodial entities. The more distributed the custody of BTC the more effective it becomes. The layman can no longer content to purchase a potentially inflated Bitcoin and must search to hold the real thing else fall victim to fractional reserves that have haunted our monetary system for the last 3 centuries. Education is primordial. If BTC is going to work, the brightest minds in the space need to be patiently showing us all how to achieve sovereign self custody of our work value -- still not sure how to get everyone to pay attention... Nostr and other distributed tools can help, but I myself struggle in pulling away from the first system.
