Was supposed to be flying to London tomorrow; but Qantas cancelled the flight after a mechanical issue. Rebooking was relatively painless (could have been smoother though); and I’m still flying to London tomorrow (with a different airline) - and I get another 12 hours at home! #travel #qantas

What kind of future are we building, where tossed-off auto-complete tools are being used (unsupervised!) to generate unexciting, beige “content”, devoid of human connection and original thought, and produced only to please the SEO algorithms? What does it say when a podcast episode costs less than $1 to make (and so if it gets about 50 listens, it passes into profit)? Utter bullshit, produced by arseholes who don’t care about listeners. At least it means that real human curation becomes more important, to wade through the morass of AI slop and surface the real human beings who have something - anything - to say.
